Names and Faces

Fracciòn-Grimmjow probably has what is at least close enough to a normal leader-subordinate relationship with his fracciòn. He clearly seems to call the shots, and all of his fracciòn seem to obey without much questioning. As far as they are concerned, Grimmjow, their king, will lead them down the path to power. As for Grimmjow, he wants to be the king, but he does not seem to care much whether he accomplishes his goals alone or with his fracciòn. After all, he does not seem to complain much as his subordinates are killed one by one.

Aizen- Grimmjow feigns respect to Aizen's face for the sake of his own well-being. This is, once again, a leader-subordinate relationship, but this one seems much stricter. When Grimmjow chooses to disobey strict orders to leave the intruders (ie: Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, Ishida, and Chad) alone, he is forced to his knees, gasping for air by Aizen’s reiatsu alone. As a result, it would seem that he does not share the same ideals and goals as Aizen, but he instead carries out orders in order to simply stay alive. Aizen is the one person Grimmjow will obey—at least, to his face, that is.

Ichigo- Ichigo is Grimmjow's rival. Sensing that Ichigo has a rather decent amount of power, Grimmjow often seeks out the replacement shinigami for fights. Even though he wins the upper hand in the first two battles, he retreats (by force) both times. However, he seems to know that Ichigo has the potential to fight him on equal grounds. In fact, before their third match, he explains that he wants to fight a fully powered Ichigo. As they fight intensely, he reveals that he detests Ichigo’s expression of superiority. As a result, it seems that one of his main incentives for fighting the replacement shinigami was, in Grimmjow’s opinion, looking down on him. As a result, the two (especially Grimmjow) have a fierce sense of competition with one another.

Ulquiorra- Ulquiorra may outrank Grimmjow, but that is no reason for Sexta Espada to like his superior. Ulquiorra does not have command of Las Noches. Therefore, Grimmjow has no reason to like or even respect him. When in conflict with one another, Grimmjow typically uses informal (and impolite) words and expresses his disagreement with or dislike of Ulquiorra. Despite this, Grimmjow does not typically pick a fight with Ulquiorra. After all, Cuatra Espada rarely--if ever--carries out any will other than Aizen's will. As a result, when Ulquiorra confronts Grimmjow, Grimmjow can only object if he intends to defy Aizen. However, as of recently, Grimmjow has become less flexible with Ulquiorra's interventions in his fights.
